Summary
“Green Of Summer” depicts the friendship, love, and romance of four 19-year-old girls.
Cast
Shin JooJin as Ji EunSoo
Ji EunSoo has a strong sense of responsibility and has a contradictory personality. She lives with mysophobia, a type of obsessive-compulsive disorder that pursues excessive neatness with a fear of dirt or contamination, and she doesn’t possess any specific interests. She lacks social skills and has a hard time understanding others.
She expresses her emotions through doodling or writing and doesn’t have many friends due to transferring schools many times. She is the first of two daughters in a low-income family with neglectful parents, so she has no one to rely on.
Lee SeungYeon as Kim MinJu
For MinJu studying, exercising and relationships are at the top of her list. She is the epitome of the “Perfect Daughter.” However, she feels trapped by the pressure to be perfect and feels an emptiness in her heart.
When she is acting she feels breathless. She has one older brother and grew up in a homely environment always striving to carry out her parent’s expectations.
Cho JaeKyeong as Lee Yul
Lee Yul was forced to grow up early in life due to her parent’s divorce. She appears bright and cheerful on the outside but secretly possesses a deeper and darker side. Even though she always has someone around she doesn’t believe in love.
Taking photos is her only pleasure. She is the eldest of two daughters and lives with her stepmother and half-brother due to her father’s remarriage.
Kim DaYoung as Shin JiWoo
Shin JiWoo is easygoing and relaxed. Everyone likes her due to her ability to create a friendly and familiar atmosphere. She is smart but lacks empathy and is often late to realize others’ feelings.
She receives comfort from listening to music and is the youngest of 3 siblings. She was raised in a dual-income household but, grew up spending a lot of time alone. However, she takes comfort in her loneliness.
